We Made it to Camp!

The students said goodbye to their host families this morning, and we traveled about 2 hours away for camp! We are at the “Free-life” camp in Gesäuse. Here are some pictures from the “until we meet again” time with the host families (goodbye means forever!) And the first impressions of camp!

FYI Today the students relaxed at camp and became settled in. Tomorrow and the next 3 days we have a lot planned!

Videos of the Show!

Here are some clips from the show. I can’t upload the entire thing due to video sizes but I will share them with the students in our Facebook group so you can see them later!

The order of the acts was:
An original dance and song by the wonderful AC&AG
The tale of the “Döner Männer“
Zach and Zack play “Schach” (chess)
Hannah and Kyle Show their skills flipping their water bottles
IKEA saga: yes 18 minutes deserves the title as saga! :)
Then the group sings “Zwischen 2 & 4” and “Schifaon” as the finale.

Farewell Show pt. 1

We had our farewell show! It was so great! The students performed their original acts in front of all the host families! We had a nice variety of hors d’oeuvres and the weather really held out for us! A cool 73 evening! Jackson was our MC for the night and every student participated in an act! Then they all sang together at the end!

After the performances were over, we revived our magazines! Every student created a page expressing their feelings towards Graz/ host families. The families really appreciated them! These are just photos of the show due to time sake, but tomorrow I will post the videos!

Volks Hilfe

Today we went to a nursing home and sang for the residents there. We also spent time talking with them and enjoying their company. They even had a song prepared for us! Here is the footage from our wonderful time there. The people were so nice and the president of the nursing home even had cake for us! The students really enjoyed it and I think that is evident from the footage.
